Fairtrade makes a huge difference to the lives of over 7 million people, producers and workers in the Developing World.

Thanet Fairtrade Initiative exists to raise awareness of Fairtrade in Thanet, and the wider Kent area.

We work with a variety of local groups including schools,businesses and voluntary organisations to encourage more shops, restaurants, hotels, workplaces, schools and community groups to either stock or use Fairtrade products enabling us to achieve our 5 goals to make Thanet a Fairtrade Island.
